Shoe Love Costs individuals £33,000

According to new research, the average British Woman spends over £33,000 on shoes over a lifetime,

A study found women buy an average of eight new pairs per year. With each pair costing around £65.89, that means we spend £527 every year or £33,204 over a lifetime.

15% of the 1500 women surveyed admitted having had rows with their partner over their shoe-buying and nearly half have lied about how much they cost.

Half of those asked said they buy at least one new pair every month and the wardrobe contains 44 pairs of footwear, including eight pairs of boots, nine pairs of trainers and 12 pairs of flips flops or pumps. Kitten and stiletto heels account for another 15 pairs.
